At this point convention dictates I offer pearls of wisdom about my transition. And nothing else about me.
Since my sole and only accomplishment, according to conventional thinking, remains changing my gender, Who Am I must tell you what you really want to know.
So here goes.
I changed my gender because I wanted to.
Now, on to other things. I have had a checkered job career (hospital administration, bartending, document management, teacher, research administrator, facilities management, managed care administration) and followed a variety of artistic paths (writer, filmmaker, performance, cartooning, woodworking, blogging) along with exercising and getting married.
Perhaps I like to work with my hands and reduce great big theories to a single cartoon the size of a business card. In the end, I don't know if matters anyway. I'll pass away and my wife promises to throw my ashes into a large body of water. Though which one, I do not know.
In the end, I want to know people who have fought very hard for their own souls. Personal integrity matters. And so does a great big sense of humor. For more about me, see my website at www.jaysennett.com.
Thanks.
